This template enables the citation of articles from the Wikisource project 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica in the manner of {{cite encyclopaedia}}.

If the EB1911 article name is the same as the Wikipedia article name, and there is no optional comment, the template argument can be omitted. For example, in the Uitenhage article
