Regarding the changes made on 04/02/2012,
- "共軍" is the general term for the troop of "中國共產黨", in contrast to the troop of "中國國民黨". "解放軍" is widely used in China whereas "共軍" is used outside China. Therefore, both terms are included first time in the article for the readers. The references are also added. Please reference the related wiki pages.
- The term, "投共", states the fact and it is more neutral than "起義". "起義" insinuates some meaning.
- Adding "企盼解救危局, 為時已晚" to make sentence complete and state the intention of the action.
- The battle "長汀之戰" is one of the turning points from previous wars to the war of "古寧頭戰役". Because new soldiers had been through hardships and trainings in this battle, thus they were able to perform in "古寧頭戰役". The details of this war have been recorded in "十八軍軍史". An article regarding this war has also been written by the soldiers, who participate in this battle. The paragraph is modified to state the situation and the effect of this war in the bigger picture.

As for the neutral point of view, this article gathers the information from the media publications, official government documents, commanders' and soldiers' descriptions, public links and the general's family.
They truthfully describe General Li's life from all perspectives and this is all about his life. I have not seen other public sites or resources which conflict with the description in this article.
The data presented is valuable for future reference about Chinese history. Ghovden (留言) 2011年8月24日 (三) 04:36 (UTC)
