羅納德·約翰·約翰斯頓
羅納德·約翰·約翰斯頓（英語：Ronald John Johnston，常譯R·J·約翰斯頓，1940年3月30日—[1]）生於英格蘭斯溫頓[2]，英國人文地理學家，大英帝國勳章獲得者，英國社會科學院院士，英國國家學術院院士，以其對於地理學理論（特別是地理學的歷史及其性質）、城市社會地理學和選舉地理學的貢獻而著名。約翰斯頓在批判社會和政治主題中集定性研究方法之大成。[2]約翰斯頓也是一位罕見的多產學者：截止2009年12月，他撰寫或合作撰寫了多達50本專著和800篇論文，主編或合作編輯了40多本專著（以翻譯版和修訂版分開計算）。[3][4]同時他還是《人文地理學詞典》前四版的主編。
