概要

每周婚姻咨療前，目前分居的湯姆和露易絲都會在倫敦西南的一家維多利亞式酒吧里提前碰頭，^[3]試圖理清他們待會準備和咨商師探討的議題與矛盾。伴隨着每周十來分鐘的「會前談話」，我們將一步步拼湊出兩人曾經的模樣，慢慢了解是什麼讓他們走到一起，又是什麼讓他們的婚姻落到現在這個地步。^[4]

辛丹斯電視（英語：Sundance TV）頻道於2018年7月13日宣佈預定製作一部10集長、每集約十分鐘的電視喜劇，計劃由尼克·霍恩比執筆編劇，史提芬·費雅斯執導拍攝，並由英國蹺蹺板電影（英語：See-Saw Films）公司參與製作。霍恩比和弗里爾斯還將與蹺蹺板電影的傑米·勞倫森（Jamie Laurenson）、哈坎·科賽塔（Hakan Kousetta）、伊恩·坎寧（英語：Iain Canning）以及埃米爾·謝爾曼（英語：Emile Sherman）一道，共同負責劇集的執行製作，並由艾米·傑克森（Amy Jackson）擔任製片。^[4]^[16]^[17]
