English: A picture of an automatically operating irrigation reel. The reel automatically reels in the waterhose on which a sprinkler is mounted. The sprinkler is also automated to move its waterbeam left to right (by pivoting), and the whole system is thus capable of irrigating a plot of land. Note that the waterpump (seperate from the reel-system) is mounted at a (not-shown) tractor, so that it is effectively powered by the tractors engine.
