The error bars on here appear to be significantly misleading. The original IPCC graph at the source page [1], contains a much larger 95% confidence limit (the grey region) than the graph prepared here. The shrinking of those error bars makes the historical data appear artificially more accurate than it is actually believed to be. — Cortonin
